About the project

A publication to read about quantum computing without hype, in plain language

We publish news, analysis, reports and research reviews on quantum computing, quantum machine learning and post-quantum cryptography. We write for people who have to decide something: architectures, budgets, migration timelines.

We are not an advertising outlet. When a vendor announces a milestone, we report what it has demonstrated and what it has not. When a regulator publishes a draft, we explain what it requires and of whom, with the text in front of us.

How we work

  • Every technical claim comes with a link to its source. If the source is a preprint, we say so.
  • Some pieces are prepared by an automated agent and are always reviewed by a person before publication. They are labelled, and we explain it in “Use of AI in our newsroom”.
  • We correct in the open: if something changes, the update date and a note on what changed stay on the piece.
  • We do not publish sponsored content dressed up as analysis.

Who we are

A small team of analysts, with occasional contributions from researchers in the field. This publication is backed by QIC Solutions, a Spanish quantum cybersecurity company, which funds it and does not take part in editorial decisions.
